Di Balik Layar Hiburan Malam: Pengawasan Dinas Ketenagakerjaan terhadap Hak Normatif Pekerja Perempuan di Kabupaten Batubara

This research aims to analyze the role of supervision carried out by the Manpower Office in ensuring the implementation of the normative rights of women workers in the nightlife business sector in Batubara Regency. nightlife business sector in Batubara Regency. Women workers' normative rights, such as wage protection, leave entitlements, and a safe working environment, are often vulnerable to being ignored in this sector. The research method used is a qualitative approach qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies with women workers, employers, and the Manpower Office. Results The results show that the supervision carried out still faces various obstacles, including the lack of human resources for supervisors, minimal employers' lack of awareness of labor regulations, as well as the social stigma against women workers in the nightlife industry. social stigma against female workers in the nightlife industry. However, there are positive initiatives from the Manpower Office to improve the effectiveness of supervision through education and training programs. This research recommends strengthening the capacity of labor inspectors, increasing legal awareness among employers, as well as collaboration with various related parties to ensure the related parties to ensure that the normative rights of women workers can be fulfilled optimally
