Pengaruh media tanam dan berbagai pupuk organik cair terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sawi white pakchoy (Brassica rapa L) secara hidroponik
Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of diverse planting media and liquid organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of white pakchoy mustard plants (Brassica rapa L) cultivated hydroponically. The study was conducted at the Experimental Field of the Asahan University Campus located on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Kisaran, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra. The experimental design employed a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with three replications. The primary factor (M) encompasses three treatment levels: namely: M1 = Rockwool M2 = Rice husk charcoal, M3 = Sawdust. The second factor of giving various liquid organic fertilizers (P) consists of 3 levels, namely: P1 = Rabbit Urine POC (6 ml/l water/plot), P2 = Goat Urine POC (6 ml/l water/plot), P3 = NASA POC (6 ml/l water/plot). The results showed that planting media affected plant height at 4 WAP, production per plant and production per plot. The best treatment was obtained from rice husk charcoal planting media with a plant height of 22.44 cm and production per plot of 556.56 g, while the highest production per plant was obtained from sawdust media, which was 100 g. The provision of liquid organic fertilizer affected the height of plants at the age of 4 WAP, production per plant and production per plot. The best treatment was obtained from NASA POC with a plant height of 22.47 cm and production per plot of 570.89 g, while the highest production per sample plant was obtained from Goat Urine POC. The interaction between planting media and liquid organic fertilizer affected the height of plants at the age of 4 WAP. The best treatment was obtained from the treatment of rice husk charcoal planting media and NASA POC with a plant height of 23.00 cm.References
