PENINGKATAN KESADARAN MASYARAKAT TENTANG PENCEGAHAN TINDAK PIDANA PERDAGANGAN ORANG (TPPO)

Abstrak

Human trafficking is a serious crime that not only violates the law but also fundamental human values. Participants, particularly those in the productive age group and women, showed high enthusiasm but limited legal awareness of the risks of trafficking. Therefore, legal counseling was conducted through lectures, interactive discussions, and the distribution of educational materials. The results indicated an increase in participants’ knowledge and awareness, including the ability to identify characteristics of trafficking, understanding reporting procedures, and developing vigilance against suspicious job offers or recruitment. Consequently, the community of Air Teluk Kiri Village is expected to become agents of change who can protect themselves and their surroundings from the threat of human trafficking, while also strengthening cooperation with authorities and relevant institutions to ensure sustainable prevention and handling efforts.
