Abstrak
The Community Service Program (PKM) is carried out with the aim of providing legal education to students of SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang, Simalungun Regency, regarding juvenile delinquency that often occurs in the school and community environment. Juvenile delinquency is a social problem that has the potential to cause serious legal repercussions if not immediately prevented and handled. In this activity, the implementation team conducted legal counseling directly to the students, discussing various forms of juvenile delinquency such as bullying, brawls, social media abuse, and traffic violations. Activities are carried out in the form of interactive lectures, group discussions, and questions and answers, so that the material presented can be well received by the participants. This counseling refers to Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection, and various other regulations related to the legal treatment of juveniles who commit criminal acts. The results of the activity showed that the students had high enthusiasm for the material presented. They realize the importance of understanding the law early on to form socially and legally responsible characters. This activity also encourages the school to be more active in providing character education and legal guidance to students. With the implementation of this PKM, it is hoped that a safe, orderly, and conducive school environment will be created for the development of morally and legally healthy adolescents.
