SOSIALISASI HUKUM PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA NON LITIGASI DI DESA AEK SONGSONGAN KABUPATEN ASAHAN

Abstrak

Through this outreach activity, the people of Aek Songsongan Village were given an in-depth understanding of alternatives to non-litigation dispute resolution that are simpler, more efficient and family friendly. The delivery of the material was carried out using a participatory and communicative approach, which not only explained the legal basis for non-litigation dispute resolution as regulated in statutory regulations, but also grounded these concepts so that they were easily understood by the village community. In this activity, methods such as mediation, negotiation, arbitration and consensus deliberation are explained in detail, which are forms of conflict resolution by prioritizing dialogue and mutual understanding between the parties. The results of this activity show that there is an increase in legal knowledge and awareness among participants, as well as a growing enthusiasm for resolving conflicts in a peaceful and just manner. This activity also opens up space for dialogue between the community and legal officials regarding dispute resolution practices that are not only legal, but also rooted in local wisdom. Overall, this socialization is an important bridge in realizing dispute resolution that is more inclusive, participatory, and in accordance with the cultural context of the local community.
