Abstrak

The stunting prevention socialization in Bangun Sari Village aims to enhance community literacy on nutrition, parenting, and maternal-child health to reduce stunting risks. Stunting is often misperceived as hereditary, while it is largely caused by inadequate nutrition from pregnancy to the first two years of life. Key challenges identified include low public awareness, limited maternal nutrition literacy, low participation in health services, minimal family involvement, and socio-economic constraints in meeting nutritional needs. The program successfully increased community awareness of balanced nutrition, exclusive breastfeeding, sanitation, and regular health check-ups. Moving forward, this initiative is expected to foster collective commitment to building a healthy, intelligent, and stunting-free generation.
