SOSIALISASI KEPASTIAN HUKUM TERHADAP SURAT PELEPASAN HAK DENGAN GANTI RUGI OLEH KEPALA DESA SUKA DAMAI BARAT KECAMATAN PULAU BANDRING

Abstrak

The socialization of legal certainty regarding the deed of land rights release with compensation is an essential effort to establish orderly land administration at the village level. This study was conducted in Suka Damai Barat Village, Pulau Bandring Subdistrict, aiming to analyze the role of the village head in educating the community about the legal validity of the release deed and the importance of official registration procedures. The findings reveal that most community members still assume the village head’s approval alone is sufficient to provide legality, whereas normatively the document must be registered with the land authority to obtain full legal force. The socialization has successfully raised legal awareness, strengthened the role of the village head as both mediator and legal facilitator, and encouraged the community to abandon oral agreements or undocumented transfers. Thus, the activity not only clarifies legal aspects but also strengthens social relations between the community and the village government, while supporting the creation of transparent, fair, and accountable land governance.
