SOSIALISASI PENYUSUNAN PERATURAN DESA TAHUN 2023

Abstract

The Community Service Activity (PKM) entitled "Socialization of the Preparation of Village Regulations in 2023" aims to improve the understanding and skills of village officials and community leaders in the preparation of Village Regulations (Perdes) in accordance with legal provisions. The Perdes functions as a legal instrument in regulating development, community empowerment, and village potential management, so its preparation must be based on democratic, transparent, participatory, and accountable principles. The method of activity includes the delivery of material on the legal basis for the preparation of the Village Regulation, technical stages ranging from the identification of legal needs to ratification, as well as interactive discussions and simulations of drafting preparation. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the mechanism for drafting Perdes, as well as awareness of the importance of community participation in the village policy formulation process. This activity is expected to be the first step in building quality village governance by prioritizing the principles of good governance, so as to be able to realize an independent, advanced, and prosperous village.
