UPAYA PENCEGAHAN TINDAK PIDANA CYBER BULLYING OLEH PELAJAR MADRASAH ALIYAH MUHAMMADIYAH 2 KISARAN

Abstract

The phenomenon of cyber bullying among students has become one of the most concerning negative impacts of rapid technological development. Acts of digital harassment such as insults, slander, and defamation through social media may cause serious consequences in psychological, social, and legal aspects. This study discusses the prevention efforts of cyber bullying carried out by students at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 2 Kisaran. The findings indicate that prevention is carried out through several strategic measures, including moral and Islamic values education, improving digital literacy, enforcing strict school regulations, legal counseling related to the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, and collaboration with parents in monitoring gadget use. These efforts are further strengthened by character building through religious activities and student organizations. With this comprehensive approach, the madrasah has succeeded in creating a safe, healthy, and character-based learning environment, while reducing the potential occurrence of cyber bullying among students.
