PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN MASYARAKAT DI DESA KAMPUNG SUBUR MENGEMBANI WARIS ISLAM DAN BANTUAN HUKUM CUMA CUMA

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the understanding of the community in Kampung Subur Village regarding Islamic inheritance law and access to free legal assistance. So far, the community still faces limited information and understanding regarding the distribution of inheritance according to Islamic law, so that it often causes conflicts between heirs. On the other hand, knowledge about the community's right to get free legal aid services is also still low, so many residents have difficulty in resolving the legal problems they face. The method used in this activity is in the form of legal counseling with a lecture, discussion, and question and answer approach, accompanied by providing examples of concrete cases so that it is easier for participants to understand. The results of the activity show that there has been an increase in public knowledge related to the basic principles of Islamic inheritance law, its distribution procedures, and procedures for obtaining free legal aid through authorized institutions. This activity is expected to encourage the creation of legal awareness among the community and be a preventive step in minimizing the potential for family conflicts related to the distribution of inheritance.
