Peningkatan pertumbuhan dan produksi kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) melalui pembumbunan bahan organik dan frekuensinya
Abstract
This study was conducted in an experimental field located on Jalan Budi Utomo, Mutiara Village, Kisaran Timur District. This study aims to determine the increase in growth and production of peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.) through organic material hilling and the frequency of hilling. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) with two factors: (1) type of organic material (B) with three treatments: B1 = compost, B2 = cow manure, B3 = chicken manure; and (2) frequency of hilling (F) with three treatments: F1 = one hilling, F2 = two hillings, F3 = three hillings. The parameters observed included plant height, number of branches, number of pods, and pod weight. The results showed that organic material hilling had a significant effect on the number and weight of pods, with the best treatment being B3 (chicken manure). The frequency of hilling also had a significant effect on the number and weight of pods, with the best treatment being F3 (three hillings). However, the interaction between organic matter earthing and earthing frequency did not show a significant effect on all observed parameters.References
