Pengaruh pemberian pupuk super palmas dan pupuk kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.)
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of Super Palmas fertilizer and cow manure on the growth and production of cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus L.). The experiment was conducted by giving Super Palmas fertilizer alone at a concentration of 36 ml/liter of water/plot and cow manure at a dose of 1 kg/plot. The results showed that giving Super Palmas fertilizer alone was able to increase plant length up to 24.06 cm, number of branches 8.06 branches, flowering age 26.11 days, fruit weight per sample plant 1.08 kg, number of fruits per sample plant 5.36 fruits, and fruit weight per plot 1.54 kg/plot. Meanwhile, giving cow manure alone resulted in a plant length of 20.52 cm, number of branches 6.21 branches, flowering age 27.04 days, fruit weight per sample plant 0.59 kg, number of fruits per sample plant 4.24 fruits, and fruit weight per plot 1.25 kg/plot. The interaction between Super Palmas fertilizer and cow manure did not show any significant effect on all observed parameters. These results indicate that both types of fertilizer are more effective in increasing the growth and production of cucumbers when given singly than in combination.References
