PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NHT BERBANTUAN YOUTUBE EDUCATION TERHADAP KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA

Abstrak

This study aims to determine whether the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model affects students' mathematical communication skills assisted by the YouTube Education application for seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang Barat. This research uses the Quasi Experiment technique which is included in the quantitative research method. In addition, this study found that the samples used were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of data analysis showed that the instruments used were valid and reliable. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang Barat, with a research sample consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The instrument used was a test. The results showed that the mathematical communication skills of students who applied the NHT learning model assisted by the YouTube Education application were better than students who used the conventional learning model, with an experimental class average of 17.04, higher than the control class average of 11.68.
