PENGARUH MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) BERBANTUAN XSOLVER UNTUK MENINGKATKANLITERASI NUMERASI SISWA
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model assisted by the Xsolver application to improve students' numeracy literacy skills. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The population included all Grade VIII students of SMPN 3 Kisaran in the 2024/2025 school year. The study sample comprised two classes: Class VIII-1 as the experimental group and Class VIII-3 as the control group,each containing 30 students. The instrument used was a validated essay test consisting of 5 questions. Data analysis revealed an average post-test score of 71.83 for the experimental class and 57.5 for the control class. The t-test results of post-test scores showed a significant difference in numeracy literacy skills between the experimental and control classes. It can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model assisted by the Xsolver application has a positive effect on improving students' numeracy literacy skills.
