PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LOGAN AVENUE PROBLEM SOLVING (LAPS) HEURISTIK BERBANTU WEB LIVEWORKSHEET TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) learning model on student’ problem solving abilities in IX th class congruence and similarity material at IX- 1 UPTD of SMP Negeri 1 Aek Kuasan in 2023/2024 Academic year. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest two group design research. The population in this study’ s all IXth class that consisting 0f 5 classes. The research sample consists of 2 clasess (IXth-1 class and IXth-2 ones) which were taken using simple random sampling. The IXth-1 class as an experimental class using the Heuristic learning model (LAPS) and IXth-2 class as a control class using a conventional learning model. The average pretest score of the experimental class was 41.23 while the control class was 39.46. After completing the learning, the average posttes score in the experimental class was 84.46, while the control one was 81.15. The T test results obtained t_count 2.14903>t_tabel 2.00856 H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected, thus there was a positive and significant influence in the application of the heuristic learning model (LAPS) assisted by web liveworksheets on students’ problem solving abilities.

Abstrak

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) Heuristik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi kekongruenan dan kesebangunan kelas IX Di UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Aek Kuasan Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasy eksperiment dengan penelitian pretest-posttest two group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas IX yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas (kelas IX-1 dan IX-2) yang diambil secara simple random sampling. Pada kelas IX-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran LAPS Heuristik dan pada kelas IX-2 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen 41.23, sedangkan kelas control 39.46. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest di kelas eksperimen 84.46 sedangkan kelas control 81.15. Hasil uji T diperoleh  H₁ diterima dan H₀ ditolak dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam penerapan model pembelajaran LAPS Heuristik berbantu web liveworksheet terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik.
