PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GUIDED TEACHING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA DENGAN BANTUAN APLIKASI WORDWALL

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Guided Teaching learning model has an effect on students' mathematical communication skills assisted by the Wordwall application in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang Barat. This study uses the Quasi Experiment technique which is included in the quantitative research method. In addition, this study found that the samples used were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of data analysis show that the instruments used are valid and reliable. The population in this study were grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Kepayang Barat, with a research sample consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The instrument used was a test. The results showed that the mathematical communication skills of students who applied the Guided Teaching learning model assisted by the Wordwall application were better than students who used the direct learning model, with an average of the experimental class of 15,730, higher than the average of the control class of 9,269.
