PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING BERBANTUAN APLIKASI NEARPOD TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEPMATEMATIS SISWA MTS
Abstrak
This study aims to test the effect of the discovery learning model assisted by the nearpod application on students' mathematical concept understanding ability on circle material with sub-materials of circle elements, circumference and area of a circle. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. The research location is MTs. Private MPI Bagan Asahan, the sampling technique is simple random sampling.. The research sample used was class VIII-A as a control class given conventional learning treatment and VIII-B as an experimental class given discovery learning model treatment assisted by the Nearpod application. The test instrument used was an essay question with a total of 4 questions that had been tested for validity, reliability, discriminatory power and level of difficulty of the questions. Before the learning began, a pretest question was given with an average result of the experimental class of 55.1333 and the control class of 51.42857. After the learning was completed, a posttest was obtained with an average result of the experimental class of 66.1667 and the control class of 57.4643. Also supported by the results of the hypothesis test, the results obtained were of 10.6075 and of 1.672522, the results showed that was greater than so that H.0 was rejected and H.1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the discovery learning model assisted by the nearpod application on students' mathematical concept understanding abilities
