Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce application-assisted learningmediaanimationwith approachcontextual which is aimed at improving the problem-solving abilities of class VIII students at the Pulau Rakyat Private Middle School in the2022/2023 academic year which is taught with the help of an applicationAnimaker. Thisresearch is a development research that uses the 4D development model (Four D Model).Model 4D (Four D Model) consists of four stages including the definition (Define),Planning (Design), Development (Development), Spread (Disseminate). The populationin this study were all students of class VIII SMP Swadaya Pulau Rakyat. The dataobtained in this study were seen from the criteria for validity, effectiveness andpracticality. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the learning mediawas assisted by applicationsanimationwith approachcontextual received interestingresponses from students. The trial results achieved a final average score of very practicalcategory.
