ANALISA KEMACETAN LALU LINTAS DI LINTAS JALAN KOTA (OBJEK SIMPANG JL. IMAM BONJOL MENUJU JL. PEMBANGUNAN)
Abstract
ABSTRACT
With the significant increase in the number of motorized vehicles and no reduction in the number
of old vehicles resulting in accumulation of vehicle flows that occur at certain times and hours,
usually the accumulation occurs at times when there is a rising and returning flow that occurs
simultaneously in accordance with the activities of most communities such as go to work or to
market, time off and time off from work. The data that becomes the input of research apart from
primary information data which will be processed are also types of secondary information data,
and secondary information data, which is used in the form of information on geometric road
conditions. From the results of calculations that have been obtained by processing the primary
data, the maximum number of vehicles is found on the kilometer 8 road section at 12.00 - 13.00
WIB with the number of vehicles 530 pcu / hour. From the calculation that has been obtained by
processing the primary data from the survey results, it is known that the road segment capacity is
1757.52 pcu / hour. So it is known that the level of service (Level of Service) on the side of the
road side of the road, kilometers 6 to kilometers 8, is 0.3, which is included in the category range
0.01 - 0.7, namely the service condition is very good, where the vehicle can run smoothly.
