PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM CENTERED LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PROPOSAL OLEH SISWA KELAS XI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 2 MEDAN

Abstract


ABSTRACT

 

This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Centered Learning learning models on the ability to write proposals by class XI students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Medan. This population of 80 students consists of two classes and the sample taken is the entire population of 80 students. Then to determine the sample based on the draw conducted by XI IPA-1 as an experimental class and XI IPA-2 as a control class. The method used in this study is an experimental method that is the research method carried out by making careful observations of the research object and the control of the research object. In this study the authors used a data collection tool in the form of tests, namely essay tests. From the test results it can be seen that for the experimental class students get grades 9-10 (0%), 7-8 (50%), grades 6 (0%), grades 5 (17.5%), and <4 (32, 5%). For the control class students got grades 9-10 (5%), grades 7-8 (22.5%), grades 6 (0%), grades 5 (25%) <4 ie (47.5%). Data processing and analysis is done using the t test formula, which is to find out how much influence the variables X-1 and X-2 variables. From the results of the study it can be seen that the hypothesis is accepted, because tcount> t table (60> 2.66), then the hypothesis that reads "More effective learning model Problem Centered Learning on the ability to write a summary of the Proposal.
