Abstract


Analysis of Socialist Feminism in the Film Mars (Mimpi Ananda Raih Semesta) by Sahrul Gibran. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the struggle of a mother in fighting for her child's right to education, as well as to explore the child's attitude and efforts in getting an education in the midst of difficult economic conditions, especially in the context of Gunung Kidul Village as depicted in the film MARS (Mimpi Ananda Raih Semesta). The study also aims to understand the economic conditions of the community in the village and analyze the impact and contribution of the community to the social relationship between mother and child in the film, by paying attention to the interaction, support, and involvement of villagers in the lives of the main characters. In this film, women are depicted as the main characters who fight against gender and economic injustice in the context of a socialist society. The data collection technique used in this study uses archival records from video recordings of films and documentation from related journals. Data analysis is carried out through the content analysis method consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data reduction aims to make data clearer and more organized, while data presentation describes data using certain categories. Drawing conclusions is done to ensure answers to research questions.
