Abstract


The Community Service (PkM) carried out in Air Teluk Hessa Village, Air Batu District, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra Province, which is located at Jalan Lintas Sumatra, is due to lack of responsiveness in the use of information technology which is used daily by village officials using computers / laptops and printers, so that training and socialization are needed in the use of science and technology in the field of technology-based correspondence as well as socialization on writing appropriate abbreviations in accordance with the General Guidelines for Spelling in Indonesian Language (PUEBI) which aim to improve the efficiency of time and energy and the filing process. information technology based in Air Teluk Hessa’s office environment, so that village officials who deal with correspondence in particular, can train their creativity and skills in utilizing the features in the toolbar menu Ms. Word, namely mail marge.
