Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether the Treffinger Learning Model has an influence on the Numeracy Literacy Ability of Students with the Assistance of Interactive Media in Comparative Material VIIth class of UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Air Joman in 2023/2024 Academic Year. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a Two Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The population in this study are all VIIth class which consisted of 3 classes. The sample in this study are VII-4 class as an experimental class using the Treffinger learning model assisted by interactive media and VII-3 class as a control class using an expository learning model taken by Sampling Objectives. Before the lesson, a Pretest was obtained with an average result for the experimental class of 14, 25 and the control class 16.81, while after the learning was completed, a Posttest was obtained with an average result for the experimental class 79.75 and the control class 71. The results of the T test were obtained t_(Count.)>t_Table (2.266 > 1.999) thus Hα was accepted, and it is concluded that there is an influence of the Numeracy Literacy Ability Model of students using the Treffinger learning model assisted by interactive media on Comparative material in VIIth Class of UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Air Joman.Keywords : Treffinger, Comparison, Numeracy Literacy
