Abstract


The purpose of this community service is the process of making palm midrib briquettes to the community. The availability of kerosene and gas is decreasing, people's energy consumption is increasing, so we need to find the source. Alternative energy to replace oil and gas. the situation of Ambalutu village is a village with a very large area of oil palm plantations, so palm fronds are easy to find, underutilized, many basic needs. This will be in vain. For this reason, it is very important to process the palm fronds into briquettes. important. Palm fronds can easily be used as an alternative fuel in the form of briquettes. The student dedication was held for the Ambalutu village community in the Asahan sub-district. It is practiced using both theoretical and practical teaching methods. From manufacturing to selling palm fronds briquettes. These briquettes can be utilized and increased as a business opportunity for community income. From the results of community service People are very interested in the process of making palm fronds briquettes. Utilizing palm fronds waste to convert oil palm fronds into high economic value briquettes.
