ANALISA LINIER BANGUNAN 3D YANG MENGGUNAKAN BASE ISOLATOR
Abstract
Base isolation has become a widely accepted method for earthquake resistant design of structures. Base isolation system has been proven effective and viable alternative to overcome the strong earthquake forces. This method is very suitable to be applied in Indonesia, because Indonesia is earthquake-prone countries. This study analyzed the three-dimensional building single-stage, linear-based and uses an elastic base isolation. In general, very rare to find a building where the center of mass coincides with the center of stiffness. Proved that, if the center of mass and stiffness center coincides not cause rotational effects. This style may lead to multi-dimensional movements that contribute to the horizontal displacement
