Abstract

Cooperative is a legal entity which based its activities on the principle of kinship. As a legal entity, a cooperative becomes an independent legal subject. The independence of cooperatives also affects cooperative apparatus such as administrators, supervisors and member meetings. Cooperative managers are obliged to manage cooperative assets in accordance with the provisions of the Cooperative Law. The existence of work participation among peers is accompanied by benefits according to their respective capital. This collaboration, like what happened at the Tanjung Balai City Civil Servant Cooperative, was carried out in various business sectors. Meanwhile, capital in a cooperative is very influential at the end of the year when the remaining income from operations is obtained for each member.

Key words: Tanjung Balai City Civil Servant Cooperative, Business Remaining, Responsibility
