Abstract


The purpose of This research is to determine the influence of the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) Model on the Speaking Skills Ability in Debate Material for Class X Students of Air Joman Regional Private High School. The research was carried out at the Air Joman Regional Private High School class X in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research was carried out in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year in March-April 2023. The population in this research activity is Class 41 students, and class X Science 3 with 40 students. This research activity uses quantitative research methods with an experimental approach. Based on research analysis capabilities regarding the comparison of speaking ability using Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) using the Blanded Learning model, it was concluded that the speaking ability of class -Posttest average is 66.2. This can be seen from the enthusiasm for learning of students who achieve all the indicators given by the teacher. Meanwhile, the average change in score from Pretest to Posttest was 54.13. The speaking ability of class This can be seen from most of the indicators given by the teacher. However, there is still one indicator that has not been achieved. Meanwhile, the average change in score from Pre-test to Post-test) is 39.49. Comparison of speaking abilities using Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) with those using the Blended Learning model in learning Indonesian there is a significant difference because after tested using the t test, the value obtained was (3.619 > 2.002) and significant (0.001 < 0.05) so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This means that there are differences in speaking ability where learning uses Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) with the Blended Learning model. This ability shows that students whose learning uses Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) have better learning abilities than students whose learning uses the Blended Learning model.
