PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA VIDEO TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGANALISIS STRUKTUR TEKS NEGOSIASI KELAS X SMAN 4 KISARAN
Abstract
Negotiation is a form of social interaction that aims to reach an agreement between parties with different interests. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to analyze the structure of negotiation texts of grade X students who were taught using video media with those taught using regular learning at SMAN 4 Kisaran. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental study with a two-group pre-test post-test design. The population of this study was all grade X students of SMAN 4 Kisaran in the 2022/2023 academic year consisting of 6 classes. The sample of this study was taken using random sampling technique consisting of two classes, namely class X IPA 1 as an experimental class applied learning using video media and class X IPA 4 as a control class applied regular learning. The data of this study were obtained using an instrument in the form of a subjective test. The results of the data analysis obtained the average post-test score analyzing the structure of the negotiation text of the experimental class was 80.19 and the average score of the control class was 62.61. The results of the t-test showed a significant impact of the use of video media on students' ability to analyze the structure of the negotiation text. This shows that learning using video media is better than regular learning on the ability to analyze the structure of the negotiation text.
