PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA DAILY VLOG TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEKS PROSEDUR SISWA KELAS XI SMANEGERI 1 TANJUNG TIRAM
Abstract
This research aims to determine students' speaking skills in procedural text material in class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram, Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency. This type of research uses quantitative experimental research methods with a control group post- test design. The population in this study was all class XI students consisting of 2 classes. There are 2 classes in this research sample, namely class XI IPS 1 and XI IPA 1. The sampling technique is simple and dominant class sampling. In class XI IPS 1 as a control class which will use picture learning media with a total of 36 students and in class.The data collection technique uses practical tests to make vlog videos and then upload them on students' social media. Based on the results of research on the value of procedural text speaking skills in class procedures in class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class had an average score of 77.91. with a significant value of 5% or 1% with dk = 70 so that the significant value of 5% = 1.66 and the 1% level = 2.38. obtained t0 is greater than tt, namely 32.2 > 1.66, then the hypothesis at the 1% significance level dk 70 t_count > t_tabel namely 32.2 > 2.38, Ho is rejected and ha is accepted so it can be stated that daily vlog learning media can provide influence on the procedural text speaking skills of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram.
