PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT DALAM KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS EKSPLANASI SISWA KELAS XI MAS ISLAMIYAH HESSA AIR GENTING TAHUN AJARAN 2023/2024

Abstract


The aim of this research is to find out what the results of implementing the team games tournament learning model in the ability to write explanatory texts at Xth class of Mas Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting students in 2023/2024 Academic Year. The subjects of this research are 37 students of   XI th Class. This type of research is Class Action Research (PTK). This research’ s carried out in two cycles, the first cycle used conventional methods and the second cycle used a team game tournament model. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is known that in cycle I the average student score was 71.48. There were 23 students (62.16%) who completed, 14 students (37.83%) did not complete. Meanwhile, during the second cycle of research, the average student score was 79.45. There were 32 students who completed (86.48%), 5 students who did not complete (13.51%). Thus, it is known that the use of the team games tournament model in explanatory text material to see the ability to write explanatory text has gone smoothly and is good for student learning outcomes.
