ANALISIS DAMPAK PENGGUNAAN GADGET PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA SISWA KELAS X SMA SWASTA DAERAH KISARAN

Abstract


This study discusses the impact of gadget use on Indonesian language learning among high school students. The purpose of this study is to determine the positive and negative impacts of gadget use on Indonesian language learning for class X students of private high schools in the Kisaran area. Type of research This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, by collecting primary data through direct observation, interviews, and documentation to the subjects. The subjects of the study included class X students, Indonesian language teachers, and principals at private high schools in the Kisaran area. Secondary data in this study are media sources such as journal articles and books that have been done by other researchers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis to draw conclusions based on the results of data collection and analysis that have been carried out. The results of this study are that around 12 students agree that the use of gadgets during learning will have a positive impact, but 5 other students do not agree that using gadgets during learning will have a negative impact on the students. Around 70.5% of gadget use in Indonesian language learning carried out by students has a positive impact. While 29.5% of gadget use in Indonesian language learning carried out by students has a negative impact. The conclusion of this study is that 36 grade X students use gadgets. Of the 17 students taken as samples, around 70.5% stated that the use of gadgets in Indonesian language learning has a positive impact, while 29.5% stated a negative impact. Although the use of gadgets can improve the quality of learning by deepening understanding of the material, challenges such as the availability of facilities and internet access are still obstacles. Recommendations are needed to optimize the use of gadgets with teacher training, time management, and improving school infrastructure.
