ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIK SISWA
Abstract
This study aimed at describing the mistakes of stidents in solving problem in the material of the material of the three-variable linear equation system in terms of students communication skill. This type of research is a qualitative approach with descrits research methodology thatvaimed at determining the description of the error analysis and the differences in the errors made by students in solving math problem. The subjects of this study were 25 students in class X of SMA Sepakat Sei Balai in the academic year of 2019/202020. The test instrument used in this study was in the form ofb6 test questions that referred to indicators of communication skill including (1) Explaining ideas, situation and mathematical relationship verbally or in writing, with real objects, pictures, graphics, and algebra. (2) Stating everyday events in mathematical symbols. (3) Reading with written mathematics comprehension or presentation. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the students made mistakes in answering the questions.
